The purpose of this training is to instruct patrol officers in advanced training in building search and vehicle approach. This updated instruction will enhance knowledge, skills and experience on the safe, but tactical approach to building entry / clearing and higher risk vehicle approach. Students learn to move through dwellings / structures and approach vehicles in both low and medium risk situations.
The course offers dynamic simulation using our two-story full shoot house. Officers will further utilize skills in live-fire (simunitions and/or live fire) exercises exposing them to the actual dynamics of the tactics. These simulations demonstrate and ensures confidence in the skills being taught.
